MHPF are committed to supporting organisations and individuals to understand, implement and work effectively with the Recovery Star through our training and consultancy. Our team of experienced trainers, including experts-by-experience, offer training packages that can be tailored to your organisation’s needs. These range from a comprehensive programme aimed at senior managers, clinicians, admin staff and other staff responsible for implementing the recovery star tool within their organisation to frontline staff. - Introduction to Recovery Approaches - Promoting the holistic understanding of the recovery ethos that underpins the recovery star tool
- Introduction to the Recovery Star - Equipping staff and Service users to implement the tool in their service or their lives
- Recovery Star key-working skills - motivational interviewing and solution focused action planning skills specifically adapted for the Recovery Star
- Training The Trainers – Equipping participants to train internal colleagues to use the Recovery Star
- Recovery Star IT Training – Understanding the use of the Recovery Star online IT system and produce outcome information & reports
MHPF have delivered training to voluntary, statutory, private and public organisations across the British Isles. Participants include carers, people with lived experience of mental health difficulties, clinicians, staff and employers, in both specialist and mixed groups.
