Turning Point is the UK's leading social care organisation. We provide services for people with complex needs, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health problems and those with a learning disability.
Providing connected care
We are committed to delivering services which provide a joined-up approach to people’s complex social needs. By focusing on the person rather than the problem we aim to provide connected care, enabling people to transform their lives and help them participate as fully as possible in their community.
Working in partnership
Our services are specifically designed to meet the needs and aspirations of the people they serve. Person centred approaches drive our services. This means involving service users in all areas of our business, from producing individual care plans to the design and delivery of services and influencing policy.

Our skilled staff work with a range of professionals and partner agencies to offer tailored support to all our service users. We work with local commissioners to provide the best solution for their community and work with the communities themselves to ensure that our services are relevant and accessible.
Our mental health services
All our mental health services are committed to a personalised, flexible, recovery-focused approach for often high-risk clients.
Individuals are encouraged to live in the community and have access to local facilities as well as statutory services.
For people affected by severe conditions, some of whom may have been detained under the Mental Health Act, our residential services encourage independence through a combination of 24-hour care, life skills training and use of local facilities.
