The services are categorised into four main areas:
Specialist Adult Services The Naomi unit is a specialist service for adults using CBT informed interventions to provide a therapeutic environment that promotes recovery from a range of problems. These include eating disorders, mood disorders and anxiety disorders including obsessive compulsive disorder. |
The Acorn Programme is a Therapeutic Community for women who may have experienced trauma in their lives and self-harm, and/or have an eating disorder or a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder.
Complex Mental Health Recovery Services - provides assessment and treatment for people with psychosis, dual diagnosis and alcohol addiction, and promotes their recovery. Three units form the service.
Specialist Older Peoples Services - provides specialist care for older people with complex and challenging behaviour problems. Two gender specific units form the service.
Psychological Therapies - held at The Tuke Centre, a specialist outpatient service providing Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology and Psychiatry services. The Tuke Centre also provides training and professional development for people working in mental healthcare.
