Mental Health Providers Forum: Voluntary Agencies Working Together To Improve Mental Health
Promoting recovery

Welcome to the MHPF

The Mental Health Providers Forum is a not-for-profit umbrella organisation that brings together voluntary sector service providers to improve services for people with mental health needs.

We work to influence national and regional mental health strategies and share information and experience among our members.

Features

Final version of Mental Health Recovery Star now available
Following our very successful Outcomes Star pilot that ended in February this year, we are pleased to announce that the final version of the Mental Health Recovery Star, which we have been developing, is now available.

User Guide

The Recovery Star has generated a massive amount of interest from organisations across both the voluntary and statutory sectors. And the User Guide (with Star and Plan) and Organisational Guide documents that are now available for download have been developed to provide organisational-wide support in the use of the Recovery Star. You will be interested to know that we are continuing to recruit organisations for our DRE funded project to pilot the Recovery Star across organisations providing services for people from minority ethnic backgrounds.

Find out more in the Recovery Star section of our website, where you can also get information about the training that we offer.

Forum Focus issue four now available
You can now download your copy of our latest Forum Focus newsletter, with Robin Johnson, Mental Health and Housing Lead of the National Social Inclusion Programme, talking about the implications of the new Local Performance Framework for mental health service providers.

MHPF Brochure
As mental health service planners and commissioners, whether in health or local authorities, our brochure - The Straight Forward Solution to Commissioning Mental Health Services - is designed to help you to understand, access and work with leading voluntary sector providers.
