Tell us what you think about the state of psychological therapies in the UK
MHPF aim to create a profile of what is currently happening within the field by engaging with the full range of people and professions using, delivering and evaluating therapies and services.
Whether you are a therapist, client, commissioner, researcher or member of the general public, we would like to hear from you regarding your experiences, areas of concern, examples of good practice or issues that you would like to see addressed in relation to psychological therapies and service provision.
We know that many of you have valuable experiences and insights into the practice of psychological therapies, but may not have the opportunity to bring them to the attention of policy and decision makers or the wider public.
MHPF have devised this short survey to capture your experiences, so that they can inform research and policy and be disseminated to help advance the provision of psychological therapies within the UK. Please share your experiences whether general or specific examples or tell us about areas of concern that you would like to see addressed.
We are collecting evidence into all aspects of psychological therapy, including but not limited to;
- Patient Choice - Availability of and access to psychological therapies
- Benefits of types of therapy
- Service provision
- Commissioning
- Evaluation of therapies/NICE Guidelines
- Ethical and philosophical underpinnings of therapy
